Expertware Participates in BSDA 2026 Cybersecurity

Cybersecurity, Digital Resilience and European Collaboration for Defense

Between May 13–15, 2026, Expertware participated in Black Sea Defense & Aerospace 2026 (BSDA), one of the region’s most important events dedicated to the defense industry, security and advanced technologies, held at ROMAERO, Bucharest.

Expertware was present at the stand of the National Cyber Security Directorate (DNSC) through the SIEMBIOT project. Throughout the three-day event, our team engaged in discussions with national and international organizations, industry companies and representatives of the European security and defence ecosystem, exploring collaboration opportunities in European projects focused on cybersecurity and digital resilience.

SIEMBIOT drew attention through its architecture designed around real operational needs: continuous monitoring, coordinated incident response and the integration of multiple security capabilities within a unified ecosystem. The platform combines dedicated SOC operations, isolated and scalable architecture, and advanced Cyber Threat Intelligence integration for proactive threat detection.

Cybersecurity Becomes Part of Modern Defense Capabilities

This year’s edition placed a strong focus on autonomous technologies, artificial intelligence, drones, autonomous systems and cyber defense.

For Expertware, this direction confirms the importance of solutions built for continuous monitoring and rapid response to security incidents.

The company’s expertise in cybersecurity, IT operations, AI/ML and critical infrastructures supports the development of solutions focused on operational resilience and protecting organizations against emerging threats.

Experience in european cybersecurity projects

In recent years, Expertware has developed and contributed to several European cybersecurity initiatives, strengthening its role as both project coordinator and consortium partner in projects with total budgets exceeding EUR 7 million and more than EUR 4 million in attracted grants.

Through the SIEMBIOT project, developed in partnership with DNSC, Expertware created a collaborative cybersecurity, Cyber Threat Intelligence and training platform built on an industrialized SOCaaS model, with a focus on NIS2 and cyber resilience.

SIEMBIOT integrates SOC, NOC, SIEM, VM and CTI capabilities into a collaborative European ecosystem, supporting continuous monitoring, analysis, reporting and incident response.

Expertware is also a partner in the European OCCTET Project, co-funded by the European Union, through the development of a Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) Assessment questionnaire designed for SMEs. The initiative aims to support companies in evaluating their cybersecurity maturity and adapting to new European compliance requirements.

Additionally, Expertware coordinates the aSIEMmetry research project, co-funded by the European Union and developed in partnership with DNSC and Vrije Universiteit Brussel, where entropy-based models are used for anomaly detection and advanced security event correlation.

At BSDA 2026, Expertware also presented Pragma Core, its proprietary Continuous Application Security platform powered by autonomous AI agents. The platform automatically analyzes vulnerabilities, correlates risks with CWE standards and generates real-time remediation guidance without disrupting software development workflows.

Focus on new european collaborations

Through its participation at BSDA 2026, Expertware aims to develop new collaborations and European initiatives focused on cybersecurity, digital resilience and the protection of critical infrastructures.

With more than 20 years of experience in delivering critical IT projects, a team of 115 specialists and over 350 international certifications, Expertware currently coordinates more than EUR 7 million in European cybersecurity and AI research projects.

This experience positions Expertware as a trusted partner in the development of modern security and digital resilience capabilities.
