High-Level Cyber Resilience Regional

Regional forum for strengthening cybersecurity partnerships

Expertware participated in the High-Level Cyber Resilience Regional Forum, an event held on April 23, 2026, at the Palace of Parliament, dedicated to strengthening cybersecurity partnerships between the European Union, the Republic of Moldova, Ukraine, and the Western Balkans.

Tiberiu Baraboi, CEO of Expertware, took part in discussions on resilience, cooperation, and the evolution of cybersecurity ecosystems, alongside experts and partners from South-Eastern Europe and the EU neighbourhood, as well as senior representatives from European institutions, governments, and industry.

The forum, organized by the National Cybersecurity Coordination Centre, part of the Authority for the Digitalization of Romania, in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Romanian Agency for International Development Cooperation (RoAid), was held under the auspices of the Digital for Development Hub (D4D).

Strengthening cybersecurity partnerships

The event is a strategic initiative at European level aimed at advancing cooperation in cybersecurity. The focus is on the exchange of best practices, the development of common response mechanisms, and access to European funding.

Initiatives such as the Bucharest Cyber Resilience Roadmap and the future Cyber Resilience Facility were discussed. These reflect the direction in which cybersecurity is evolving at regional level: more integrated, more coordinated, and based on public–private partnerships.

In this context, Expertware’s participation reflects the company’s involvement in regional cooperation and the exchange of best practices, as well as in the development of coordinated responses to cyber threats, alongside public and private sector actors.

Expertware develops the SIEMBIOT cybersecurity platform in this direction, combining threat intelligence, vulnerability management, training, and the operationalization of security into an accessible model, including for organizations with limited resources. In the context of increasingly fragmented IT infrastructures, the platform addresses the need for a centralized approach, providing 360° visibility into risks and security events.

For many organizations, NIS2 is no longer just a technical requirement, but a governance element with legal, operational, and reputational implications. More details about the project are available on the official website.

Expertware, recognized as part of Romania’s National Cybersecurity Community

During the forum, Expertware was officially recognized as part of Romania’s National Cybersecurity Community, coordinated by the National Cybersecurity Coordination Centre, with the support of the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC).

This recognition, granted under Regulation (EU) 2021/887, confirms the company’s role in contributing to a cybersecurity framework aligned with European standards.

Expertware’s presence is supported by its involvement in European research and innovation projects, through which the company has attracted and coordinated over EUR 7 million in funding in the fields of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.

This involvement is reflected in the SIEMBIOT project, developed in partnership with DNSC. More details about the project are available on the official website.

In parallel, Expertware contributed to translating European requirements into practical tools by developing a Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) assessment questionnaire for SMEs, within the OCCTET project.

The same direction is also reflected in the aSIEMmetry research project, co-funded by the European Union and developed in partnership with DNSC and Vrije Universiteit Brussel, where entropy-based models are used for anomaly detection and efficient correlation of security events.

Through these initiatives, Expertware contributes to the application of validated models for protecting infrastructures and managing incidents, as well as to the transfer of know-how across European markets.

Participation in this forum and the recognition received confirm Expertware’s role in an ecosystem where cybersecurity is built through collaboration, expertise, and the ability to respond at regional level.
