Expertware is an IT services and cybersecurity solutions provider, with operations in Romania, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Germany, and the United Kingdom. With over 20 years of experience in delivering critical IT projects, the company surpassed €10 million in revenue in 2025 and continues to grow steadily.
Strengthening its position as an innovator, Expertware has developed its own products:
· SIEMBIOT – a collaborative cybersecurity, CTI, and training platform, built on an industrialized SOCaaS model, with a focus on NIS2 and cyber resilience;
· BizInfo – a data and analytics platform for business decision-making;
· Pragma Core – an application security platform using AI agents to integrate continuous security into the software development lifecycle.
At the same time, Expertware actively contributes to strengthening cybersecurity resilience at European level and to operationalizing security requirements through the development of a survey dedicated to the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), within the OCCTET project, co-funded by the European Union.
Expertware coordinates over €7 million in European research projects in cybersecurity and AI, acting as an active player in innovation ecosystems and a trusted partner for companies looking to secure not only their infrastructure, but also their growth.
From quantum computing to post-quantum security
Through the conference delivered by Martin Svik, VP & Distinguished Engineer at IBM CTO NCEE Europe, the fundamentals of quantum computing, the use of hybrid computing models, and the role of artificial intelligence in security institutions were presented.
Recent perspectives at NATO level were discussed, along with the theory of post-quantum cryptography. Concepts such as Quantum Key Distribution (QKD), recent developments in the field, and requirements for implementation and evaluation at institutional level were also addressed.
Advancing cybersecurity and future collaboration directions
In this context, participation in the event marks the beginning of a new stage in the development of quantum technologies, including the formation of a new generation of specialists—a direction in which Expertware is already involved through its projects and capabilities in cybersecurity.
Equally important was the interaction with professionals and organizations active in this field, opening up conversations and future collaboration directions.
For Expertware, such events support the evolution of cybersecurity in the context of quantum infrastructure and the way these technologies can, over time, be integrated into practical services.
