On June 10–11, 2026, Romanian technology company Expertware took part in Nexus Luxembourg 2026, one of Europe’s leading platforms for discussions on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, digital sovereignty, and technological innovation.

Held at LuxExpo The Box under the theme “Accelerating AI & Tech for a Better Tomorrow,” the event brought together more than 10,000 participants from over 50 countries, alongside more than 150 speakers, hundreds of startups, investors, and representatives of European institutions. This year’s edition was supported by the Government of Luxembourg, the City of Luxembourg, the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, and Luxinnovation.

Key speakers included representatives from NVIDIA, UNESCO, OVHcloud, and Paytm, as well as senior government officials from Luxembourg.

The Romanian Pavilion, Organized by ROMLUX and Supported by Luxembourg Officials

Expertware’s participation was facilitated by the Romania Luxembourg Business Forum (ROMLUX), an organization dedicated to strengthening economic relations between Romania and Luxembourg and promoting Romanian companies across Western Europe.

Romania was represented at the event through a National Pavilion that brought together eight organizations and companies active in areas such as technology, artificial intelligence, energy, digital health, and cybersecurity, contributing to the growth of the Romanian innovation ecosystem on international markets.

The Pavilion benefited from the support of the Embassy of Romania to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg through the presence of H.E. Livia Rusu. It was also visited by senior Luxembourg officials, including Xavier Bettel, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, and Lex Delles, Minister of the Economy, SMEs, Energy and Tourism. Their presence highlighted Luxembourg’s interest in collaborating with the European innovation ecosystem and fostering strategic economic partnerships.

Beyond its role as an exhibitor, Expertware stood out through its presence on the event’s official stage with a keynote session titled “Cyber Convergence in the AI Era,” delivered by the company’s CEO and Co-Founder, Tiberiu Baraboi.

During his presentation, Tiberiu explained why and how organizations must rethink their protection, governance, and risk management strategies as AI-powered attack methods continue to grow exponentially year after year.
