Expertware participated on May 14, 2026, in the “Cybersecurity 2026 Working Group – how to approach your organization’s real risks, from requirements to practice”, organized in Iași by Digital Innovation Zone (DIZ) and CAMPUS | Interreg Europe Project, as part of the broader Cybersecurity Week initiative.
The event brought together representatives from DNSC, ADR Nord-Est, NCC-RO, academia, healthcare institutions, and cybersecurity companies to discuss the operational challenges organizations face in implementing cybersecurity measures and NIS2 requirements.
Cybersecurity in Healthcare Means More Than Compliance
During the event, Florin Moțco, Cybersecurity Analyst L2, and Adrian Savu, Project Manager & Team Lead at Expertware, delivered the presentation “Incident Response in Healthcare: Perspectives Under NIS2”.
The session was built around a real ransomware scenario in a private healthcare network and highlighted the operational impact caused by limited infrastructure visibility, legacy systems, lack of segmentation, and delayed incident detection.
The presentation also explored practical measures organizations can implement to strengthen cyber resilience, including continuous monitoring through SIEM and SOC capabilities, EDR-based detection and response, network segmentation, MFA policies, isolated backup strategies, and cybersecurity training and awareness programs for employees.
These capabilities are integrated within SIEMBIOT, the cybersecurity platform developed by Expertware specialists for monitoring, detection, and incident response across critical infrastructures.
